April 15-17, 2025 Chicago, IL: The MBE & QIF Summit 2025 will be held at MxD in Chicago where Anark is sponsoring and engaging our customers within the Model-Based community. We are excited to support this annual assembly of industry experts with model-based efforts ranging from 3Di Technical Data Package (TDP) capabilities enabling MIL-STD-31000B along with more recent initiatives such as DoDI 5000.97 Digital Engineering together with solutions for Controlled Unclassified Markings (CUI).
Many of these approaches were driven by the Defense community with crossover implications for any industry or organization interested in improved technical data collaboration. Anark fully supports all the major Model-Based formats that feed into either 3D PDF file or Digital Engineering portal approaches and we enable these Digital Transformation initiatives at your pace!
Anark recently completed an OSD MANTECH Organic Industrial Base (OIB) Modernization project with the US Army where Anark, together with MxD, provided "A Closed-loop Technical Data Exchange that Meets the OIB Where They Work". This project showed the benefits of Digital Engineering technologies and approaches for packaging, hosting and collaboration with Technical Data beyond 3D PDF documents, exactly as DoDI 5000.97 Digital Engineering specifies! The NIST MBE Summit has brought academia, government, and industry experts together since 2009 to share the challenges, implementation issues, and lessons learned in design, manufacturing, quality assurance, and sustainment of products and processes where a Model-Based approach is used. This includes all aspects of the product lifecycle from design, manufacturing, quality assurance, and sustainment of products, where a digital 3D model acts as the authoritative source of information.
The DMSC have been gathering those people and organizations interested in developing an open standard to facilitate the seamless movement of a model-based definition and manufacturing quality data. Quality of Information Framework 3.0 is a structured way to achieve that objective. Everyone interested in the standard and those who want to help improve and expand it will have the opportunity to do so at the summit.
