Defense Manufacturing December 2024
December 2024: Auston, TX Anark rolled into DMC 2024 on the heels of the very successful Anark and ITI Wipro joint webinar where we discussed how Anark 3D PDF's together with ITI CADIQ validation are the perfect combination to create MIL-STD-31000B (or any type of) Technical Data Package. We had many good discussions with people focused on how to create better 3Di documents along wiht validation processes and you can also have a look at the on-demand replay webinar!
This was the 8th year in a row for Anark to sponsor and present at the DMC where we help manufacturers and government enable the type of requirements outlined in DoD Instruction 5000.97 Digital Engineering. Note that the goals DoDI 5000.97 specifies could be applicable to any type of industry Digital Transformation is important, not just Aerospace and Defense.
One other hot topic at DMC was be DoDI 5200.48 Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) that the Anark Technical Data Collaboration Platform can address.
Anark VP of Marketing Patrick Dunfey presented in the Model-Based Enterprise: Building a Connected Supply Network stay tuned for a blog summary and video update to Anark's approach to DoDI 5000.97 at the top of 2025.
Anark, MxD and the US Army are also working together on the Defense ManTech's Organic Industrial Base OIB) Modernization Challenge project for a Closed Loop Technical Data Exchange that meets the OIB where they work! The Department of Defense Organic Industrial Base, comprised of depots, arsenals, and shipyards, is a critical part of our national security apparatus. Its mission is to maintain, reset, and repair the platforms, equipment, and supplies of our Armed Forces. Anark's Technical Data Collaboration platform will be in the middle of these efforts and we look forward to this project.
