March 3-6, 2025 Golden, CO: Anark continues a series of in-person events with customers and partners as we converge on Golden, Colorado March 3-6 to sponsor the 3D Collaboration and Interoperability Congress (3DCIC).
The theme this year of: Digitized or Digitally-Connected Enterprise? Bridging the Gap coincides perfectly with challenges Anark is addressing with customers as we improve their Technical Data Collaboration Maturity Levels.
The Digital Thread Racetrack: Where’s The On-Ramp?
Anark VP of Marketing and Alliances, Patrick Dunfey, shown above at 3DCIC 2024, has often posed the question of "The Digital Thread Racetrack: Where’s The On-Ramp?" Everyone has seen it, a digital thread pitch where the diagram looks like a perfectly closed loop racetrack with systems and machines connected in a clean closed-loop diagram as below. The only problem, there’s no on-ramp to get into the race for the average person who often deals with Email, Teams, Slack, SharePoint and many other collaborative systems they use. There is a large PLM Gap that must be bridged and Anark can help!
Office productivity systems are often disconnected from PLM, CAD and other systems that store and manage engineering and manufacturing information. People are generically collaborating but, they cannot use core technical information so they resort to image snags, endless PowerPoints, static PDF, email with attachments all which becomes out of date quickly and fuels energy sapping collaborative approaches, confusion and inaccurate or delayed decisions. It is especially difficult for non-technical users who need to work with CAD, PLM or other types of manufacturing information w/o being domain experts.
