Anark release 4.5.89 includes the following enhancements, new features, and bug fixes. Additional information can be found in the product documentation included with the release and please also look at the Anark Software Release Download Page!

Anark Publish Upgrades

When upgrading Anark Publish to versions 4.5.85 and later from 4.5.83 or older, you must uninstall the old version before upgrading to new versions.

Example: If you are on 4.5.80, and will upgrade to this latest release of 4.5.89, you must uninstall 4.5.80 and then install 4.5.89.

Anark Collaborate

Task Management (Work Items) updates for organizing, managing, and tracking work.

• Added Work Item permission checks across the site for enhanced information security

• Closed unaddressed issues from initial feature release

• Began backend support for executing Work Item queries and reporting   

Print Template updates for supporting print workflows

• Added new "row" and "image" blocks to improve visual presentation of title blocks

• Added support for different font sizes in print templates

• Added support for watermarks over the title block

Anark Publish PLM Integrations 

Teamcenter Integration

• Added Support for Teamcenter version 2406. This reference integration continues to support item revision mode and package mode publishing.
• Introduced preference-based dataset naming configuration for published web-based TDPs (Anark Collaborate Content Items) and 3D PDFs. This will allow customers to configure the name based on a combination of Part Identifier, Item ID and Revision ID and suitable prefix or suffix as needed.  
• Added support for handling a greater number of files for embedding in 3D PDF by handling input file names in a file as opposed to a command line argument which has length restrictions. 

Windchill Integration

• Enhanced integration to extract Windchill change object metadata for WTParts based on a configured preference value. This enables customers to harvest custom properties from a change object for inclusion in a web-based TDP (Anark Collaborate Content Item) or 3D PDF.
• Added support for publishing EPMDocument attachments
• Added support for publishing jobs from a secured environment with HTTPS protocol 

Bug Fixes

Customer feedback and continuous improvement are an important part of how we develop our products. Thank you to all who have recently submitted support tickets so we can deliver you the best overall product quality. Our Product and Engineering teams worked hard to strengthen our products in this release, fixing 12 issues.

Anark Workstation and Anark Publish 

• Resolved an issue where some CATIA part imports were crashing and 3D PDFs were not being generated
• Resolved an issue where opening some projects was failing with a system error exception type of: SystemOutOfMemory.
• Resolved an issue when exporting PRC and then reimporting the PRC was not respecting hide/show states in views from their original exported state. Fixed for top level views.

CAD Integrations and Publishing 

• NX – Resolved an issue where some parts that contained flat patterns were not being displayed as defined in the NX model.
• NX – Resolved an issue where in some models, PMI was missing or not shown, generally affecting front facing notes that were impacted by model rotation.
• JT – Resolved an issue where some files were not importing when the GD&T import option is enabled, user was shown an import warning message.
• Creo – Resolved limited issues where in some models, center lines or geometric tolerances were missing.
• CATIA – Resolved an issue with some larger models where importing was failing in ways that had not occurred before.

PLM Integrations and Publishing

• Resolved an issue related to handling recipe setting details associated with XML files data connector.
• Resolved an issue related to email notification of publishing process where job status was not reported correctly for work package publishing.
• Resolved an issue related to handling of attachment files associated with WTdocument business object. 

Support Notices

Siemens Teamcenter Support Notice

Release 4.5.89 now supports Teamcenter version 2406.

Siemens NX Support Notice

In the upcoming release version 4.5.90, support will be added for NX 2406, formal support for NX 2112 will be removed. The oldest formally supported version will be NX 2206.

PTC Creo Support Notice

In the upcoming release version 4.5.90, support will be added for Creo 12, formal support for Creo Version 9 will be removed. The oldest formally supported version of Creo will be 10.
