Anark Core: Automated CAD simplification

Anark Core significantly reduces the time and cost associated with 3D CAD file simplification and preparation by recording all CAD transformation steps into "recipes" that can be automatically reapplied to CAD assemblies and models when design changes are submitted. Recording CAD model preparation and simplification tasks "captures the knowledge" and enables reapplication of these steps at any time, resulting in a predictable, efficient and error free business process.

Prepare a CAD model for 3D PDF documents

• Import the CAD model into Anark Core
• Remove sensitive design elements, holes, fillets, or other irrelevant design CAD data
• Export the transformed CAD model into a B-reps-based format like Parasolid, IGES, or STEP
• For applications that don't require B-reps, export the transformed CAD model into a mesh format
• Import the exported file into Adobe Acrobat Pro Extended or save to an Adobe LiveCycle ES watch folder
• When integrated with PDM or PLM servers, Anark Core can automatically re-generate updated 3D PDF documents with current designs

Securely share CAD data across the extended enterprise and supply chain

Unlike other solutions, Anark Core can embed accurate B-rep CAD models suitable for design markup, measurement, and review within the 3D PDF document. Embedding B-rep data within 3D PDF documents enables OEM's and suppliers to exchange "real" CAD data within secure, rights-managed engineering documents allowing suppliers to create tooling, perform analysis or create rapid prototypes from the "real" CAD data. When paired with the Adobe product suite, Anark Core automates the production of use-case specific CAD models for document based collaboration applications, thereby increasing the portability, value, and relevance of the 3D CAD and CAD related.
